Consumer Culture is a part of everyone’s daily lives. We encounter some form of marketing strategy whether we casually go to the grocery store or seek out the newest Iphone. What’s the conclusion? That marketing works. Specifically, using advertising and commercials, people are able to be informed, persuaded, manipulated or all three when it comes to brands and their products.
For your final project, you will choose a brand to focus on and will develop a written and PowerPoint to present.
Part I – Written Response (100 points)
After choosing your brand, you will answer the following questions based on that brand.
1- Why is this brand a relevant part of consumer culture? (100 words min)
2- What kinds of marketing strategies do they use for their items? (think of celebrities, mascots, labels, jingles, colors, etc. )Specify. (100 words min)
3- How does your brand impact children, teens, adult men and women? Specify (100 words min)
4- How brand impact a certain socio-economic, racial, or age group? Specify (100 words min)
