Section One:
Write a first person narrative describing an event from your childhood. The age
range must be between 6 and 11 years old. Make sure to include your specific age at the
time of the event and use only relevant information to describe it.
Section Two:
Write a third person analysis that reframes the event from the perspective of
lifespan development. Use information from the class powerpoints and the
course text. Include footnotes and a reference page that lists the powerpoints
and the textbook. Do not use outside sources.
Section Three:
Conclude with a brief summation and the insights learned from looking at a
childhood event through the eyes of lifespan development. Has your perspective of
the event changed, stayed the same, or a combination of the two?
